Tokyo Marble Chocolate

Finally i got the time to watch this 2 episode OVA series.

As stated above, Tokyo Marble Chocolate is a short 2 episode OVA romance series animated by Production I.G and the assistance of BMG Japan. In charge of the animation is Kyoji Asano, who is acclaimed for his work on Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Le Chevalier D’Eon. This story involves a boy and a girl with unsuccessful relationships all the time told from their separate point of view. In the 1st episode of the series will be about the main girl character “Chizuru” about her life and her own point of view in the series. The cast of “Chizuru” is Nana Mizuki who casted as Fate in the Nanoha Series. The first part was inspired by the song “Mata Aimasho” by SEAMO.

And heres the trailer of the anime.

Going on to the second episode, this time it will be about the main guy character “Yudai” about his life and his point of views in this anime. Just by looking at the pictures, its animation resembles “Honey & Clover” or “Nodame Cantabile“. The cast of “Yudai” is Takahiro Sakurai who casted as Suzaku in Code Geass. While for the second part of the song was “Zenryoku Shounen” by Sukima’s Switch.

You can also visit their Official’s Site.

My Opinions about this anime?
Wonderful!! Ill rate it 9/10. Animation is great.
Its worth watching although its short.
Chizuru is cute! And i prefer the 1st song rather than the 2nd song.
Catchy song ^^ Gonna download it after im done with this post.

Oh right and heres a PV of Tokyo Marble Chocolate.
“Zenryoku Shounen” by Sukima’s Switch.
Sadly i cant find a PV of “Mata Aimasho” by SEAMO. =(

Glad that i downloaded it.
People who are reading this, do reconsider about watching this anime. =)

It doesn’t really matter in what order you watch it, but some bloggers (like myself) do think that the order matters. But you can still watch the girl’s first… I don’t think it’s in a set way that Yuudai’s ep is first.

Somehow this anime has one major turn off for me, and that’s the drawings. But I’ll watch it one day provided I have the time since the screen caps you have makes the anime seem interesting.

I’ve said it over and over again, but I guess I’ll just say it again. The order won’t really matter all that much, especially if you’re going to rewatch it 🙂

Lol I didn’t even know something like this existed. Well, since it’s by Production I.G. I’ll watch it if I can find it on some video streaming websites 😛

@Steve. nope, like what others said. it don’t really matter which one starts 1st. Its just different point of views.
@icystorm. ahaha but i read the newtype january magazine and it says the 1st part will be chizuru’s view while the second will be yudai’s. Oh well it don’t really matter in the end. However after watching those 2 episode. I still think starting with Chizuru’s episode is better>
@DT. lol, ahaha the drawings are quite ok thought but you cant compared it with the clannad or lucky star lo. XD since they are quite different. ahaha yeap =) watch it
