Anime in Papercraft

If only i got talent like this. T_T

Its 12:42am at my place now. Just finished revising for my physics but theres still half left, gonna finish it today since its past 12am XD. Anyways! actually i thought about this papercraft post like 2 mths ago? Took me long enough to post it eh? lol. As you all can see! its an anime character made from a damn paper, although its black and white in colour and totally 2D but who cares? lol its damn MOE. So heres the definition of papercraft from our lovely Wiki.

The well known Hatsune Miku in 3D papercraft form.

Paper models, also called card models or papercraft, are models constructed mainly from sheets of heavy paper or card stock as a hobby. It’s may be considered a broad category that contains origami, and card modelling. With Origami being a paper model made folding paper and not using glue and card modelling as the making of scale models from sheets of card on which the parts were printed, usually in full colour, for one to cut out, fold, score and glue together. They appear to be generally more popular in Europe and Japan than in the United States.

Printed card models became common in magazines in the early part of the 20th century. The popularity of card modeling boomed during World War II, when paper was one of the few items whose use and production was not heavily regulated. Micromodels, designed and published in England from 1941 were very popular with 100 different models of architecture, ships, aircraft… But as plastic model kits became more commonly available, interest in paper decreased. The availability of numerous models on the Internet at little or no cost, which can then be downloaded and printed on inexpensive inkjet printers has caused its popularity again to increase worldwide. Home printing also allows models to be scaled up or down easily (for example, in order to make two models from different authors, in different scales, match each other in size), although the paper weight must also be adjusted in the same ratio.

Blablablabla…. theres actually MORE of the definition but i think the rest are crap. The 1st paragraph is the exact information needed. 😄

Omg, check out the background. Kawaii!

Ah. cute T_T

Well, im actually suprised that the world is getting better in these things. I mean like last time, i only know how to wrap a paper into a paper plane and shweesh~ *Flys over the classroom*. 😄 Although they might seem simple but from my point of view, i think its really hard for their perfect cutting and the shadings. Other than those 2, creativity is needed too. All i can say is that these people got SKILLS! Talented people T_T. Oh well, i guess thats all for this post. Don’t really know what else to talk about papercrafts. Decided to post about this because i think the papercrafts are nicely done plus its related to anime so yea. While on the other side which is my daily life, im currently thinking of a girl. As in thinking of her non stop. 😄

Once again i shall end here with pictures!
The pictures below are clickable as the pictures are quite big.

I’ve seen allot of these around on the web, its really cool how they draw it so that the image is made to look so that it adapts to the hand that is holding it.
