I apologize for the lack of posts during the past few days because all my daily tuition has started and its gonna be hardcore tuition all the way T_T. Oh well, must work hard for this year Olevels! Anyways as you all can see, Haruhi goes Dub! Lol don get what i meant? I meant that instead of speaking in Japanese, this time they speak in english. Hmm you all must be thinking why im talking about Dub Anime. Well because its not about the anime characters speaking in english but rather all the songs in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya in English. This is my 1st time seeing all the songs in an anime to be sang by another english singer. Well this post will be short since its mostly about the videos that im gonna post. Watch the videos?
are well sang but the last part from 00:52 till 00:56 were quite off
and too fast but still good singing. The others were just ok~
Oh well, still cant beat Hirano Aya!!!! =D Ah i just never got bored
of that “Hare Hare Yukai” Dance. Did anyone out here actually
attempt to do the dance? Well i did try before. Hohoho! =P
Hare Hare Yukai!
God Knows..
Lost my music!
IM FIRST IM FIRST. bloody hell i am so lame . -.-
OK, I have to say that Christina Vee is the only candidate for good Haruhi Singing. Wendee Lee (VA for Haruhi in the dub) was terrible.
“if you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all”
no comment here.
Well, i don`t really like dubs, but i like kentai life return sang in english.
Since i understand what he was singing
Well, if it is your first time watching it, then you will probably find it quite good.
@wy. Wtf o.0
@PockyCravings. haha yeap so far shes the best english singer for japanese anime songs. haha i wouldnt wanna watch haruhi in DUB. Hirano Aya ftw!
@Setsuna-san. don mind my crazy fren, like what she mention she is lame. lol
@Rokku. ahaha yeap just heard it and its quite ok. but didnt bother to continue listening XD
@AS. ahaha yeap they are good. =P just that they still cant beat the original singers
just heard them, ah my ears!!! i don’t like dubbed stuffs, especially if it is related to haruhism! The original is definitely the best. May seems good to someone who haven’t heard the original version. uh i don’t know, i just don’t like the sound of it. original still rocks!
I have not come across any good english dubs. English may be my first and most used language, but it’s definitely not meant for anime! As if dubbing the voice wasn’t bad enough, now they’re translation the songs. Translated lyrics are horrid.
Best solution: Listen to the Japanese audio, read subs if you need to.
I think my ears are bleeding from those videos.
P.S. The “oldest” dub where the music AND voices were both translated, that i have watched an episode of, is Rurouni Kenshin. Sobakasu (the OP) in english makes no sense at all.
@Seiryuu. LOL so many ppl are complaining! HAHA. well For a dub singer, she is pretty good but surely cant beat the original.
@Hiyuu. LOL i watch anime with subs! i don wan Dubs! hahaha =P well gotta say that some translated dubs are weird. XD
MY EARS ARE FUXXORED! I CANNOT UNHEAR IT!
This is my 1st time seeing all the songs in an anime to be sang by another English singer.
Hmm is anyone else having problems with the pictures on this blog loading? I’m trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
