Ah, finally finish watching the series. =(
Firstly i shall apologize for the lack of posts as you all can see, im pretty busy watching this series and i finally finish watching it! Well the feeling is great after finish watching a GREAT series, but it sucks cause its the end of the series already. I wanna watch more!! T_T Oh well too bad >< Im sure many otakus around the world would have heard of this famous series or anime. Theres a release of the anime and live-action series and guess what? I’ve watch both and none of them made me disappointed! I’m impressed! kekeke The anime version contains 45 or 46 episodes if im not wrong, XD the last time i watch it was 3 or 2 years ago? This is the 1st time i watch a Japanese Drama series and im very impressed with it. I think im starting to like japanese drama series now like Sol. XD Anyways i’ll be mainly talking about the live-action series.
The drama series is based on the manga and anime of the same name, both created by Fujisawa Tohru. The story is a sequel of lesser known series Shounan Jun’ai-gumi (Shounan Love Gang) where Onizuka Eikichi’s rogue high school days are depicted.
Sorimachi Takashi plays Onizuka Eikichi, a graduate of a third-rate University and the leader of a motorcycle gang, whose lifelong dream is to become a teacher. After being hired by a seemingly eccentric director, Onizuka begins his unconventional way of teaching a hopeless group of troublemakers. Although he meets much opposition from the students and teachers themselves, his passion for teaching, and more importantly, his students, eventually convinces everyone that Onizuka truly has the makings of a great teacher. Although his gangster status and attitude create lots of headaches for many, his warmth towards teaching gradually touchs them and gains their acceptance.

I’ve went searching information about this series and im suprised to see that this series is actually one of the top 5. In Jdorama, this series is rank 1st! pretty cool eh? And tell me about it, which series comes with a movie? well don compare this with anime series, i mean japanese drama series! GTO must be a really great series till theres a movie for it.
And now my final thoughts of this series. Very good! My very 1st japanese drama series and it may be the best series ever. Very glad that i watched this series. =D The theme song was great too! love the beat. And about the series? behind every episode, theres always a meaning behind it. Its like a lesson for us to learn. Other than that, Onizuka gave me a great laugh in every episode! a few were sad though. XD. Oh well! i still love this series and here are the screencaps. Right! i almost forgot something, all the girls in the series are hot hot hot!!! Fuyutsuki, Miyabi, Erika and so on.

Now im done with the series, going on with the movie! In this movie Eikichi Onizuka (Sorimachi Takashi), who barely earned his teaching degree at a second-rate college, rolls into Horobonai, a small rural town in Northern Japan on his motorcycle to take a job as a substitute instructor. Ever since the closing of the local theme park, Horobonai has fallen into an economic tailspin, and many of the town’s teenagers have sunk into a deep depression. Onizuka, however, isn’t the sort of person who respects the town’s newly somber personality; willing to mouth off to both his students and his superiors, Onizuka isn’t much of a teacher, but he knows how to get people interested, and soon his brash style (and willingness to kick a few butts) brings new life to Horobonai. Rena Tanaka is the cutest girl in the movie. ^^
So i guess thats all, =( i hope that this series won’t end because its so great!! T_T Well dear readers, i hope you all will watch this series after reading this post. I guarantee that you will not regret it and you will love it.

I watched this live action series a while ago, its quite good and I find that they picked a great actor to play onizuka even though he looks nothing like his animated counterpart lol.

Lol, GTO live action. I’ve watch the tv series with my mom, who is a former headmistress. And she reckon that Onizuka style of teaching might actually help some of the delinquent problem she experience during her teaching days. I of course what freakin’ out and going ‘Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?’ ^^.
quite a memorable series and I think Takashi’s acting is good too. ^^
I liked Takashi…especially when he was singing “Poison” lol.
Anyway, the live action wasn’t as fun as the anime since it had more drama and less… “Onizuka-ness” but it was still a good watch!
