Kanon becomes reality!

ayu500.jpg

This post will be much more on pictures and i may do a small review about Kanon for those who havent watch it yet since most otakus should have watch it before. So if you’re ready, click it!

As you all can see, the places in kanon such as the school in the picture shown are actually real! I’ve notice that not only this anime but most of the new anime that are being released uses places in reality for their anime such as Lucky Star and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Its actually pretty cool if you were walking down the street and suddenly you saw a scene in one of the anime you have watched. Well surely most places are usually found in Japan =S. The company in charge of this anime will be Kyoto animation and their anime never made me disappointed, so for those who haven watch Kanon, heres a short review about it.

Yuichi Aizawa returns to this town after 7 long years. In his childhood, he often visited the town but something that happened in the past which caused his memories of the events that took place to be blocked out. On this day while walking on the street, he bump into Tsukimiya Ayu and soon his memories begins to come back bit by bit after more and more incidents take place. And then…

Go watch it if you wanna know what happens next!
Number of episodes = 24
My rating will be =8/10
I gotta improve my reviews of anime, man i suck T_T

I find this anime with a very unique style
and the way the story goes. Very special!
For those who haven watched Kanon,
what are you doing here!? go watch it now!
so heres the opening for Kanon. Enjoy!
and yes the girls are cute especially Makoto-chan!

And for those who haven know, this Kanon was actually the remake of the old Kanon which was released in 2002 and here is the difference between 2002 and 2006. LOL Not just the graphics but also the story! Kyoto Animation sure know how to satisfy everyone.

Most of such animes which relate to real life are from KyoAni. Kudos to KyoAni!!!

KyoAni is known for their rea life references and I’m not surprised about their Kanon work XD

So far I’m enjoying Clannad, makes me wonder if KyoAni will animate every work by Key…

To be fair, though I’ve never actually played the Kanon visual novel, some of it might have come from the visual novel, and not Kyoto Animation. But that’s just a guess.

Well, for example, the last two images seem to be more CG-ish than the rest (I might be wrong, though), so it’s possible that Kanon, which was originally a visual novel (Or, to be specific, eroge) was based on the place pictured above before the KyoAni release.

Do you happen to know what is the address of the location? The possible start of a “Kyoani site location pilgrimage” lol. And yea totally love Kanon ^^.

There are many forms of visual novels, but Kanon is known as a bishojo game. Basically, you play as the main character (Yuuichi) and can choose to date/ advance the storyline for any of the heroines (Ayu, Nayuki, Shiori, Mai and Makoto).

It reads like a novel, with conversations and text and all, but it (usually) displays the person whom you’re talking to and so on. (Hard to explain, so I’ll just put an image in:

(Image is from Clannad, not Kanon, but they’re both similar, since they’re both by Key, so it’s fine so long as you get the gist of it)

Every once in a while, the game comes to a point where you can make a decision. The decisions affect the protaganist’s actions, and ultimately the storyline and which girl you choose to date.

And that’s the end of my explanation, hopefully it helped you understand more about it. If you still have any questions, email me (My email should be sent in a form to you, unless you disabled having an email sent to you every time someone makes a comment) and I’ll answer your queries. Alternatively, you could go look it up on Wikipedia.
