SAS 50th Anniversary (Morning)

And so the day is finally here, our school 50th Golden Jubilee, pretty cool eh? This is my first time to witness such a big event in my school. Since its my last year so i decided to take part in something and i did. Our English teacher told us to split up into groups and do something related to english for the event. My group consist of 9 people and 3 of us are going to do a dressup with the title “Who am i?”, or in other words “cosplay”. LOL but not exactly cosplay la, just that this is related to english and the costume are not like cosplay costume.

To be honest, i was quite lazy when it comes to finding information and so i just told my leader “Si Hui” that i’ll do anything she ask me to do excluding finding informations and she decided! At first! yeah i feel very relaxed since i got nothing to do. Time passes by and the big event is coming closer, and i got tricked by the devil! She got into me into something weird and gay? but fun at the same time. =D I won’t say much, check out the pictures for yourself. So yea on the 19th of April, every subject departments were getting ready since the deputy minister of education is coming to visit us. Blablabla~ i was actually doing something in the physics department too but i was stuck in the english department most of the time. The school was quite empty since those students who are not involve in the whole event don’t need to come to school. And so this is what we did for the english department.

So you can guess who are we acting as already? Well here are the answers. Im acting as CleoPetra, Weechoon as Othello and Vuiboon as Macbeth. I shave my moustache for this role play since im acting as a queen. Well you may think that me or weechoon looks gay but we are not GAY! Its actually quite fun during the make up. The english department was the first department to be visited by the guests of honour and our booth was the first one too! So Linda asked the deputy minister to pick a paper and they are not allowed to open it! Linda will be opening it and whispering to us that who got picked. The person that got picked will say out a few quotes of the 3 famous characters. After that we walk out of the curtain ending it with “Who am i?” Unfortunately the deputy minister picked the paper with Cleopetra in it and so yea, i came out from the curtain. I tell you ah! the deputy minsiter like went back one step and starting laughing and he ended up guessing who am i after a few hints. After that, other guests of honour pick the papers and only me and vuiboon got picked. Weechoon didnt get picked at all =S. Im suprised that all the people who picked us can actually guess who we are. Thats pretty cool. And guess what? Today our head english teacher told us that our group did a great job! She said that the deputy minister told her that he was very impressed and the dressing up idea was very imaginative and yea i told my group about that awesome comment and a smiley face appears =).

And so we all had fun that day. We only dress up until around noon when all the guest of honour goes back. There were a few people calling me aqua or gay? ahaha don’t bother don’t care but i know some are just kidding. After that we all just hang out and went around the whole school checking out other subject departments. It sure was a enjoyable day. I only remove my make up at 3+ since its a once in a lifetime event.

visited our school in the afternoon!

And finally the last picture, Ben and Harris in the biology lab. Ben was doing some DNA stuffs and Mr.tan shoot him with questions until he cant answer any of them. Poor ben muahahaha! So anyways that day was fun. You only get to experience this kind of event in every 50 years? Im glad that i took part in it. Si hui may not be a devil after all. kekeke, i shall write about the 50th anniversary dinner in the next post so see you till then. =D
